Before I start, I want you to have a quick understanding of what cPanel could be.
cPanel is the platform for managing nearly all of your self-hosted blog components such as email account, files, speed, storage space, security and etc.
A self-hosted blog means you’ve rented a storage space for storing all your contents and allied services that come with it and all these will be managed from a well-organized system called cPanel and one of the content you’ll be storing is your email account.
How to Login to cPanel
a. Look through the hosting details your hosting provider sent to you.
There is a section titled cPanel.
Copy the web address which seems like this http://www.yourwebsitename.com/cpanel
Or any web address provided by your hosting provider to your browser address bar and press “enter” key button.
A web page like the image below will emerge.
b. Input the provided username and password & Click the Log in button.
You’ll be driven another web page
That’s the simple way to login to your cPanel.
How to Create the Customize Email Address
a. Look for the “Mail” section which is most likely position as the second category.
b. Click on “Email accounts” which is the first subcategory.
c. You’ll be driven to a web page where you can manage nearly everything about your email accounts which include creating a fresh email account.
d. To create your fresh email account, simply add a name you like in the rectangular box bearing “Email:”
For example: “yourname”, demo, billblogger, admin, support, etc.
e. Enter your password in the second rectangular box bearing “Password:” and also add it again in the third box.
Note: Make sure your password is strong with a combination of numbers and letters (alphanumeric).
- Allocate storage space you want to give this newly created email account by specifying an amount or make it unlimited.
- Finally, click the “Create Account” button and wait for a few seconds to create it.
If successful, it will appear under the “Account @ Domain” subsection such as “firstname.lastname@example.org”
This is a clear and simple way to create a fresh email account.
Note: A number of email accounts you can create will be determined by your hosting provider which can unlimited or limited.
It’s advisable you inquire from your provider how many email accounts you can create before you start making plans to create them.
How to check your Email if you’re expecting an Email or if someone has sent you an Email
You can do this in 2 ways … ..
The first way
a. In your Email Account section, scroll over to the subsection Account @ Domain where the new email address you’ve created was positioned.
b. Look through the email address row to the far right end, you’ll see the “More” button.
Click on it and a drop down menu (Access Webmail & Configure Email Client) will appear.
1. Click on the menu button “Access Webmail” and you’ll be driven straight to a web page where you’ll just “Click to Access your Email Box”.
2. There are 3 email platforms: Horde, Roundcube, & SquirrelMail.
Click on any choice (the Logo image) and you’ll have immediate access to your email boxes.
I personally prefer the middle platform (Roundcube) & this way is my most preferred choice because it’s easier to achieve your goal with fewer forms to fill or fewer actions to the destination (Email Inbox).
3. With this easy access, you can check your inbox, send emails and perform many other things pertaining to your email account.
The second way
1. On the cPanel home page, scroll to the “Mail” section and click on the “Webmail”.
2. You’ll be taken to the Webmail subsection page.
Click on the “Log In To Webmail” button.
3. You’ll arrive at a Log in a web page.
4. Simply insert your complete email address (email@example.com) and password & then press the enter keyboard button or click the Login button.
5. You’ll arrive at the different email platform just like I stated in a first way.
Simply, choose any platform and you’re in.

How to send an email using your customize email address
